PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONI decided to put this screen on the back door that the dogs use. It was a little difficult because of our strange door frame on that particular door, but with a little rigging I manage to make it work. The magnets are strong enough to grab one another but pull apart easy when you walk through. The dogs weren't sure what to do at first, but now they plow through with ease. They have torn a hole in the mesh from jumping at the door to come in. I do occasionally have some trouble with the top middle coming off of the velcro, which causes the whole thing to hang open, but I believe this is due to the odd door frame. So, it's not exactly one size fits all, but should work for the average door.
